Jing Er, born in 1999 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, graduated from China Academy of Art in 2021, now works in Hangzhou. When creating,Jing Er exposes himself to and selects from diverse images, and this personal interest in image comes down to his concern for the desire of "new reality." Through a series of physical interferences and interventions, such as appropriation, juxtaposition, enlargement, erasure, and repainting, these originally unrelated images are reunified into my personal plane in the way of "layer relations," which eliminates the meaning of the image itself and liberates the driving force of creative instinct.
