In April of this year, the Inna Art Spacewill present “Re-Image”, an extended engagement with image media and theirmodes of display inviting relevant practitioners from China and around theworld to gather and exhibit their work continuously for a period of two weeks.The project aims to exhibit and promote work made in image media and to providea platform from which to further examine and discuss this, thus stating thecase for image media based art.

This work is inspired by my walking to the NuclearPlant No. 1 in Taiwan. In the middle of the way,there came abandoned night markets, waste waterdrained from the Nuclear Plant, the temple of the 18th King, etc. ... Through the process ofshooting, these logically unrelated things gathered geographically get rearranged, and the clips ofimage stimulate the imagination of strange story happened here. This film ties the nuclear powerplant, abandoned night markets, stray dogs and local gods together to distort and re-linkdifferent issues.
